How to install your Avocet ABS lock:
Measuring your required lock size

There are a few different sizes of Avocet ABS locks used depending on your door type.
To make sure you select the correct Avocet ABS lock for your door type please follow the 3 easy steps.

Step 1
Open your door and look down the edge.
It should look similar to the picture on the right.

Step 2
Now you need to locate the lock screw (show on the right).

The screw will be in line with the bottom of the lock cylinder
And usually looks slightly different to the other screws in the door.

Step 3
Using a tape measure or ruler, measure each side of the cylinder as shown on the diagram.
Measure from the centre of the lock screw to the edge of the lock cylinder.

Repeat the process on the other side.

'A' represents the measurement of the internal side of the lock cylinder (shown on diagram).
'B' represents the measurement of the external side of the lock cylinder (shown on diagram).
